hey guys, i wanted to make sure i still blogged that way i could still be apart of the class. As you know i finished at MHS and so now i'm a student at MJC. Its all really different and i like how my days flow. I go to school monday through thursday and i have Theatre and Human Sexualities on mondays and wednesdays then psychology on tuesdays and thursdays.
But i'm starting to think that i'm not smart enough for college, for example in psychology we have to write debate papers on whether America is in a moral decline and i didn't really even know what that meant. I feel so dumb, i don't even understand what i'm supposed to read in my textbook, its like its all in another language. Then of course i have Trevor in my classes and he makes me feel even more stupid because he actually understands everything. He give me a feeling of competition like we have to compete to see who's smarter. So, i can't tell him that i don't understand.
i feel like i'm just not cut out for this and it sucks...
Nicole, I'm glad that you like your classes but don't think you have to compete with Trevor to see who has the brains in the relationship because I doubt that's how he sees it. Keep your head up, you'll learn at your own pace. :) Be glad your with someone who might be able to teach you a few things a long the way, otherwise people just get boring.
ReplyDeleteLike I said when we were texting, you are so NOT dumb. You're just starting out and getting used to things, eventually everything will fall into place. As Andrea said, you're going to learn at your pace, and you definitely don't need to compete with anyone.
ReplyDeleteYou're a smartie N, trust me.
:)
that's cool that you get to have him in your classes.. but don't feel dumb. you need to tell him, and have him help you out. it's a team effort, especially in a relationship. i don't understand what the hell that is either, but it doesn't mean i'm dumb, so it doesn't for you either. you know that you aren't dumb, so be smart about it.. ask him lol. it'd be cute to study and do things together.
